A vacation for your pet! Double Oak Mountain Animal Clinic offers state-of-the-art accommodations for your dog or cat while you are away, and you can enjoy peace of mind that there are medical professionals on site.
Dog and cat boarding facilities are located separate from hospitalized patients. All boarding guests must have a reservation and proof of vaccine status. They must also be free of fleas and ticks.

Our veterinarians have digital radiographs (x-rays), electrocardiogram, and ultrasound machines available here in our hospital to help diagnose and monitor heart condition.

Keeping your pet’s mouth healthy is the single most important wellness procedure to add quality years to your pet’s life. We offer traditional dental cleanings with polishing and, if necessary, extractions.

From ear infections to allergies, dermatology problems plague pets and their owners. From lumps that require a small sample of cells to be taken by needle and examined under a microscope (called a fine needle aspirate) to skin impression cytology for hair loss, we work hard to solve any dermatological problems.

Diagnostic Testing & Laboratory Features

Our veterinary hospital features a complete laboratory where we routinely perform in-house laboratory tests, such as complete blood counts, biochemistry profiles, electrolyte and blood gas analysis, thyroid screens, urinalysis, and fecal parasite checks. Having these diagnostics available in-house means your pet receives the necessary diagnostics and answers quickly and hassle-free.

We are proud to feature on-site digital radiology (x-ray) and minimally invasive state-of-the-art ultrasound to aid in the diagnosis of many diseases and conditions.

We are able to diagnose and treat many orthopedic problems such as fractures and ligament tears. Treatment may include a combination of medicine, surgery, or physical rehabilitation.

We have a full-service pharmacy as so your pet will get the medications it needs with ease. We also carry many prescription diets as well as a range of medications for flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.

Preventive Health Medicine

Just like humans, pets need annual checkups to stay in good condition.  Your pet’s annual exam allows us to make sure that your pet is healthy and helps us to catch any health problems before they become serious.  We can advise you on senior pet health, vaccinations, micro-chipping, parasite control, nutritional counseling, behavioral problems and allergy issues to name a few.  If any problems are found, we provide you with the ideal treatment options that fit you and your pets needs.

Double Oak Mountain Animal Clinic is equipped to perform a wide array of general, orthopedic, and dental surgeries for conditions that can’t be treated with medications.  Our surgical staff members are licensed veterinary technicians who have the latest monitoring equipment at their disposal to ensure your pet is cared for.
