It can be tough to leave for vacation when you can’t bring your beloved pet along with you. Finding a boarding facility that you can trust to take great care of your animals is a huge responsibility. Fortunately, at Double Oak Mountain Animal Hospital, we offer mini-vacations for your pets at our state-of-the-art boarding facility.
Our hands-on staff of caregivers and trained medical professionals ensure that pets are healthy, happy, and relaxed at all times during their stay with us. We offer an activity-rich environment they can thrive in. While your pet is in our care they will get the opportunity to maintain a regular play and exercise schedule and socialize with other animals and people. Our team works hard to relieve any boredom or separation anxiety your pet may experience so that when they return to you, they are just as happy and healthy as they were when they checked in.
Our boarding facilities and animal hospital are completely separate, so you never have to worry about your pet coming into contact with sick animals. That being said, our veterinarians and technicians are never far away! We have trained medical professionals on-site to administer any medications your pet needs and ensure their health and safety.
Before you and your furry friend make your way out to the boarding facilities at Double Oak Mountain Animal Hospital, you’ll need to make sure of a few things:
If your pet doesn’t meet these requirements upon arrival, we must turn them away for the safety of our other guests.
If you like, you can pack a few personal belongings for your pet, such as a blanket, toys, or a bed. Please make sure everything is clearly marked with you and your pet’s names. If your pet is a picky eater or on a specialized diet, you may want to consider sending their food of choice too.
Before you arrive, be sure to download and fill out all necessary paperwork. You can email the completed documents to us or drop them off when you arrive.
We spare no expense to run the best possible animal hospital boarding facilities. Your dog will have its own kennel run during the day, and your cat will have its own spacious, comfortable cage during its stay. Dogs get access to our exercise yard several times each day, and cats receive one-on-one time with our animal-loving caregivers and technicians.
If you have a special needs pet with unique care requirements, please don’t hesitate to call and ask us about accommodations. We’re happy to make special provisions for your pets whenever our boarding facility allows us to do so. However, this may incur extra fees depending on the level of care required.
We promise that when your pets return from our animal hospital boarding facility, they’ll be just as happy and well cared for as you left them. Call us at (205) 991-5446 to learn more or make a reservation.
